Static HTML, hand-written CSS, no build step and no analytics. Served from a small VPS in Amsterdam.

Type is set in whatever the reading device offers first — the system stack, in other words. We tried self-hosting a face and decided the extra 90 kilobytes were not paying for themselves.

Posts are written in a plain text file and pasted in by hand. There is no CMS. This has been true for four years and we have no plans to change it.
